[belph can't say he's hungry, but it's for the better to at least stay hydrated, and in the absence of unlimited alcohol, he's just going for bottled water.

though he pauses when he sees someone else. 'sup, shinobu.]

[ Shinobu is here for some coffee and some water, too, and she moves around to grab some, looking at the coffee dispenser with a pensive expression before she turns to face Belph.

Her smile in greeting is sharper than usual. ]

I'm afraid I haven't asked to get you any alcohol yet, but today seems to be a good day for some.

It's all right, Wei Wuxian is hooking me up. We came prepared.

when belph sees shinobu, he holds up a hand in greeting.]

[ They are..... outside the Mess Hall. Shinobu is carrying a tray, and it is empty. She holds up a hand in return. ]

Hello, Belph-san. It's another terrible Friday, isn't it?

Can you believe there was a time before all this that Fridays were the most anticipated day of the week? Now they just suck.

[ She laughs a little, but there's negative mirth. ]

That sounds like a fantasy. I'd like to know a time when Fridays are just days again.

week 1, saturday

[ Shinobu is coming back from the forest probably when she runs across Belph.... wherever he is. She greets him with a raise of a hand although it's half-hearted.

She's visibly upset in that she isn't smiling as usual. ]

No, terrible sums it up pretty well. Though I'm not wholly unsurprised either.

[ If Belph is in the forest, Shinobu is slowly making her way around there. She heard the announcement and knows he was close enough with Hikage from how Hikage reacted to him during the trial, but it's a little hard for her to see clearly right now.

Perhaps it's lucky that he has such distinctive hair that she spots him, as she tries her hardest not to squint. ]

Belph-san?

[ Her tone and expression are something inbetween curiosity and concern. ]

he turns and smiles, the spitting image of how he usually is.]

Shinobu. What can I do for you?

[ Her hand pauses halfway to touch her eye but stops, and she drops it. She squints up at him.

Her brows knit. She knows a front when she sees one. ]

[ She sounds a bit more detached than concerned. ]

Shinobu is actively looking for Belph in the rain or out of the rain. This past weekend was terrible, and she was not in a good place to talk to him. She's in a slightly better place now. ]

[at this point i don't know where he is but wherever it is, he's probably lying down.]
