I’m guessing that nail polish and stuff isn’t a thing in your home? There wasn’t in mine, but I did nab a bunch to bring back with me after I left the station.

It is. It's slowly becoming more popular, now that there are more things being introduced from the west.

Not until around fifty years or so ago. I was too busy training with my sword or treating people to look into cosmetics.

I have been learning how to make western food like pancakes, however.

I was learning from a friend of mine, at home. She's much more open and receptive to doing and trying new things.
