Shinobu isn't really looking for a sword in particular, but when no one knows if murder is imminent or not, she can't afford to be lax in her practice. Even if she doesn't have her Breath still, she can still fight.
She's looking for an empty spot devoid of anyone, so she can be alone, but wherever she's going, someone is somehow always there?
And now, Yasusada Yamatonokami is here. Wherever here is. ]
[LET'S SAY that for some weird reason they're out by the isolation cabin, because that's likely their best bet at being alone. Why is Yasusada out here? Probably just nosiness, honestly. Unlike certain cultivators, he kind of just. Does things.
Anyway. He looks surprised to see her, but not in an unpleasant way.]
Oh, hello. [He smiles, then tilts his head slightly.] Are you lost?
[ She looks down at the sword sheathed at her side, but she's in a kimono. How this is going to work is.... a mystery....! But Shinobu can figure it out. ]
[Yasusada doesn't seem offended; he waves a hand.] Oh, I'm sure he has one already. [What kind of swordsmith doesn't name their swords?] But it's alright if you don't know it.
[It's only because Ookurikara and Lili immediately took off to investigate that Yasusada's even still here. There's a restless energy to him, though--he, too, can't stay still, and he's pacing in front of the cabins, his grip occasionally tightening where it rests on the hilt of his sword. He notices her approach, but it's still a little startling when she speaks to him, and he blinks to snap himself out of his own thoughts.
He doesn't have a good answer, though, and he looks down at his feet.]
...I don't know. [He replies honestly, lifting a hand to press against his chest.] It hurts, here.
[IT SURE IS. Yasusada struggles with it a little more than the rest of them do, probably--but that's because his focus is, and always has been, on being a good sword. His humanity, or lack thereof, was never really a problem before.]
...Even if it was foolish, I wanted to trust them. [He hadn't seen any reason to be hostile to their hosts; what good would that do them? That said--] But I can't really say I'm surprised, either.
[...He didn't expect it to be one of his own, though. Even if they weren't particularly close.]
Tsurumaru-san is from my home. [He'd be upset either way, but the fact that it's a comrade, even if they weren't close... it's making things harder for him than they might've been otherwise.] I should be doing something. Trying to find him, somehow.
[Before this, Yasusada would've hesitated to call them friends. But now, he's had barely a week with other swords around, and he's already lost one of them. It feels disrespectful to say anything else.
He nods, though, at her question.]
I have. But I didn't want to get lost, if we were going to go home soon.
[Hello Shinobu!! Yasusada's probably on his way back to his cabin by now--he nyoomed pretty quickly after trial, but he's back, and he still looks very tired and upset. He looks over when she calls his name, and nods a little bit, stopping to let her approach.]
