[harrow can be found in the courtyard, sitting at one of the tables, chin in hand, looking a bit tired. she's back to her ordinary black clothes and bones.]
...I suppose there's little to do today, isn't there?
[ it's just like friday, but things are worse. shinobu is at the courtyard, sitting a table with tea. there are a few stray flower petals by her teacup.
she smiles when she sees harrow. it's both tired and sad. ]
[harrow hardly gets far on monday. she can stay in her room, but eventually even she will find the need to come out to eat. she goes to the restaurant and has breakfast and coffee brought to her. but before she can return to her room, she runs into shinobu.
and a memory will play. by the time it ends, harrow has put down her coffee, running her hands down her painted face, smearing the paint.]
[ the memory is so intense that shinobu staggers until she leans against the wall, as she tries to catch her breath and separate herself from the pain of almost dying to the trauma of being forced to lose someone so important to you, in that particular way.
she understands going so far until your body breaks and breaks and breaks. she understands self-sacrifice, but that combination was brutal.
she takes a deep breath and raises a hand to wipe away from the teas she feels forming. ]
... That truly was cruel.
[ it's more of a quiet observation than anything else. ]
