[there's a harrow reflection she can spot out of the corner of her eye.]

[ she turns to look and it moves in her periphery. ]

Oh, no. Is this supposed to be like a horror film?

Then you do see it?

[she seems to be genuinely asking.]

I do. I would ignore it for now, but I won't stop you if you want to do the opposite.

[ she can't see a way out, but... if they're being taunted, she doesn't know if she wants to give into it. ]

[she stares at the mirror for a long second, and then she punches it, smashing her hand against the glass.]

It is probably best to ignore, but I won't chance that this is no mere illusion, but some manner of siphoning instead.

If you bruise too much or it starts bleeding, we'll have to take a closer look at your fist.

[ but otherwise, shinobu takes the punch against the mirror in stride. sometimes, violence is the answer. ]

Is siphoning how it is where you last were? Or at home?

[her fist is definitely bleeding a bit but she doesn't really seem to care.]

[ harrow, please care. shinobu is caring. she frowns when she sees the blood because there are no real first aid supplies. ]

[ she holds up her sword and swings it, sheathed, the mirror like a bat. this is going to take a little while. ]

[it will, but she will follow shinobu's lead and use her kitchen knife to shatter glass instead. a bit better.]

[ together, they crack this mirror in record time and end back in the hall.

she looks down at her hand. ]

It could be worse, but it could have not happened at all. Are all the rooms some kind of trap?
